We LOVED Peru

Hello Viviana, I wanted to let you know that we LOVED Peru. My boyfriend was hesitant about visiting Peru—he only went because I wanted to go—but he loved the trip—probably more than I did. He has been telling all of our friends here that everyone needs to visit Peru—and if they decide to go, to call PeruTourism for an amazing vacation.

Everyone that we met, from the tour guides to the drivers were always courteous, kind and professional. We were amazed as to how punctual everyone was—we never had to wait for any of our drivers or tour guides. They were always there, ready to help. We really enjoyed the itinerary that was provided and all of the hotels where we stayed were fantastic. We really enjoyed the resort in Paracas—the property was beautiful, and I liked the museum that was there. I only wish that it had been a little closer to town, we would have enjoyed visiting the little town, but the resort had everything that we needed. We also loved Ollantaytambo and the little town near Machu Picchu—and wished we had more time to spend there. Our one big regret is that we didn't plan enough time to visit Lima—our time there was too short. The Lima museums that were on our itinerary were wonderful. Museo Larco was one of my favorites during the entire trip—in addition to Casa Aliaga. We would love to come back and visit Lima and see a few more things in Peru that we didn't get a chance to visit.
